Dear all Sonic ladies and gentlemen,

Number of Sonic took part in the Tri-HK Aquathon at Repulse Bay, not a massive attack but the massive cheerleading by Sonic girls enough to lift up the atmosphere!
On the elite front, our Kiwi-trained Ivan Lo 1st runner-up just few hundred behind Daniel Lee;
Ironman Champ Michal Bucek remains unbeatable in AG25-29 Champion;
Fire-frighter Bill Yuen 2nd runners-up, working-hard-in-shape Coach Kenneth Yip right behind;
New Sonic raising star Pearl Tie just trained with Sonic for 3 months and won 2nd runners-up for female 30-39;
Our veteran Eric Chan won 2nd runners-up for AG45-49!
Michael Lam crowned Champion in his Junior group!

Welcome new Sonic member, Antonie Stoffel!
Don't you know where is Sebastien? One of our best Sonic triathlelete in 2009, father of two (last year), now he is father of three! Welcome Antonie Stoffel! Antonie was born on 24th July, very soon Sonic will have a relay team from Stoffel family consists of two sisters and one brother!

Riding in Tung Chung
Some of us doing the extra bike training at Tung Chung should notice the warming from HK Police regarding Road Safety. Police is enforcing the rule of riding alone Cheung Tung Road should be in single file except when overtaking. (see attached warming I received).

This law enforcement was triggered by the complaints of the road users (drivers) to some cyclists riding double paceline, it looks really cool but HK is not the place for this.

I also attached an email sharing from one of the cyclist FYI. To remind you, a bell on the bike is an essential piece of equipment.

HK Sprint Triathlon
Sprint Tri is always the greatest distance for all level, no matter for training or your first tri!
We have a lot of Sonic podium finisher this time, men 25-29 still dominated by invincible Michal Bucek crowned Champion, our coach Kenneth climbing to Top 2 of podium ranked 1st runner up for 30-34, very fit Brian Lee ranked 8th in 35-39, Dr. Chris Top ranked 5th in 40-44, our busy hair dresser Eric Chan won 1st runner up in 45-49, YingHo ranked 7th;
Ladies field we have Stephanie Bina won 1st runner up in 25-29, right behind former National Squard!
And we have two Junior Champion Michael Lam and Kong Yan Pui!

Well done everyone, if HKTri give price money, Sonic would have big meal!

Ironman Taiwan 70.3
At the time we are all training hard for this race, we have 3 months to go, 2 months before tapering, it's also time to book flight and accommodation. Thanks Kent for the arrangement and watch out for his email from the latest race course change development, it's also causing the change of start/finish point and official hotel!
Anyway, the special edition Trisuit is something we are all looking forwards to!
